I’m finally ready to get 1 carat diamond earrings, but I’m stuck on where to buy without overpaying. Do you guys trust big stores like Costco, or is it smarter to go local jeweler? Also, is certified a must for earrings or only for rings? I want something that looks crazy sparkly but still feels worth the money. Any tips on what to check before I commit?
Genuinely asking because my mom keeps telling me my engagement ring and wedding band need to match my husbands ring and it needs to all look like a set. But like everything I see people wearing now is kind of mismatched on purpose and it looks amazing.
We're not super traditional people so I don't know why I'm even stressing about this. I think I just don't want to look back at photos and feel like something looks off. But also I don't want to follow some rule that nobody actually cares about anymore.
