Thinking about switching to ITX with current parts

Currently i’ve got a standard ATX pc build that i’ve had for a few years now.

Recently i’ve grown increasingly fond of the look and idea of a SFF pc. I’m curious if it’s worth the endeavor to buy all the necessary things to make this conversion (mobo, case, cooler, psu?). I just bought a new SFF 5080, and decided I might want to use the smaller size to its fullest advantage.

My biggest concern/question is i’ve currently got a 12900k which is on the LGA 1700 platform. Would it be stupid to buy an ITX motherboard on this same platform since it’s technically outdated now?

Just bought a 5080 and feeling regretful

After hearing all the recent news of GPU prices increasing in the very near future, I decided it’s time to upgrade from my 7800xt to something more capable of 4k. Got this 5080 from microcenter for about 1200 after tax, but i’m wondering if I just fell into the FOMO trap or not.

Someone please either reassure me or tell me to think twice about my purchase 🥲 I still have time to return

Torn between new or remanufactured Leap v2

As the title says, i’m deciding between a new Steelcase Leap V2 and a remanufactured from Crandall.

There’s currently a great sale on the Steelcase website and I can get one brand new for roughly 1k.

After speccing out the chair how I want it through Crandall, with the headrest included, it equals roughly 1k as well.

I’ve heard that the Crandall version has a nicer cushion, and it also includes the atlas headrest as well as the fabrics which look very nice to me.

My question is whether a new one with OEM parts offers any benefits other than the obvious being that it’s brand new and untouched.
