Wiring up AiM logger to 2022 BRZ CAN bus?

I've got a 2022 BRZ that I'm slowly turning into a mostly-track-use car, but still keeping it street legal for a couple more years. I want to drop an AiM data logger on it (Solo 2 DL or SmartyCam4 Corsa) to capture as much of the ECU data as possible off the CAN bus.

I've read a few places where folks have had problems getting good high-frequency ECU data channels from the standard OBD port, and some have alluded to accessing the CAN bus either through a port on the steering column or an "options" OBD port behind the radio that apparently provides access to the full CAN channel set.

Anyone messed with wiring up the Twins' CAN to an AiM data logger? Suggestions, hints, tricks, tips, etc much appreciated!

Heading to SCCA Track Night @ Road Atlanta TONIGHT

I got on the waitlist for the novice group this session (registered too late), no love. Still plan to head over there to lurk and see what it's all about, since spectatin' is free, and I've signed up for the June 17 event. And any day at the track is a good day. 😁

Anyone else in the area participating tonight?

Freshly PPF'd

Got the front clip + full rockers PPF'd, picked it up today. Guys did a great job and were super transparent (no puns!) re existing blemishes on the front bumper and hood, post delivery care, etc. Sandblasting and rock chips with all the damn roadwork in Atlanta are no joke... 🙄

Dedicated, all-weather, autocross + track day/HPDE tires?

I've seen a lot of threads on here re autocross and track day tires, and most are full of the compromise of a single tire for daily + track/autox use. I have a spare set of wheels that need to be shod, and would like to make that set my "compromise" tires for wet-dry autocross and light track day/HPDE use.

Coincidentally, the spare rims I bought have BFGoodrich g-Force Comp 2 A/S already mounted (albeit one has a chunk missing out of the sidewall), and I've seen favorable mention of those on here and elsewhere.

Was just looking at Costy-co and they are running specials on the Comp 2 A/S-Plus and Phenom T/A atm, was wondering if anyone had used them for autocross and track (without concerns of daily driver wear-n-tear, etc).

Thanks!

Is ft86club.com on autopilot?

As a new BRZ owner, I created an account on ft86club.com over a week ago. There's no admin approval for my account, and no reply to any of the messages I've sent to the admin regarding getting approved. I still see login and posting activity by other users, so the site's not dead. Anyone else run into this?
