Elixir Scramble strategy

My alliance had our first Elixir Scramble last night, and I have questions about how it works.

  1. I kept getting teleported back to the starting location, I assume when my score reached zero. What exactly does this score represent (troops?) and what can I do to prevent this from happening?

  2. I kept running out of troops and not being able to attack. I know that on the left, I have buttons to heal troops, and to collect troops. Since healing takes ages, is there any point in healing during the game?

  3. When I was garrisoning a building, the enemy would attack my sanctuary first before attacking the building. Is this to force me to leave?

  4. At the end of the game I got a ranking for most siege points (I don't know what word is used in English but that's what the word means). What exactly does this mean?

  5. Any tips for dealing with when your opponents are all higher sanctuary level than you??

Thanks!

I have very short hair, naturally brown with a decent amount of greys. Recently I have used some orange box dyes and like the effect, but it fades quickly. I am interested in henna because I like the idea of adding to my natural color, and having orange/copper highlights in the sun, as well the natural benefits of henna.

However, I also get a curly perm. I read in the FAQ that henna can be known to loosen curl patterns, which is obviously the opposite of what I want. I am wondering if anyone has experience with a curly perm followed by henna, or the opposite - henna followed by a curly perm. Will the perm still stick? Is hennaed hair difficult to curl?
