Randy's Free donut for bday pro-tip

I was looking to order my free birthday donut from the Randy's app. On the plus side I noticed it seems to let you order any donut for free, even the most expensive Texas (large) donut.

OTOH, I was going to order cheaper donuts too and pay full price. However, the app was going to apply the freebie to the cheapest donut. So I will just be getting the one free large donut. They're missing out on what could be a larger order.

How long is EES taking in Frankfort?

I see there was a similar question posted a day ago, but mine is slightly different and might help others too!

I booked a flight for my family (4 of us, 1 is a kid) to Rome from N. America, with a connection in Frankfort for this upcoming week. I haven't traveled to EU in a while and was expecting to not have to go through customs until my destination (I just forgot that you've had to do it at your first stop for quite a while). But it sounds like we'll have to deal with EES in Frankfort...

With an expected 1.25 hour layover there's no way we can make the connection, right? Unless our overseas flight lands very early and we're lucky. Do we need to get our luggage and recheck it too?

Lufthansa won't let me adjust online because I used a 3rd party. And the 3rd party is claiming Lufthansa has to do it.

Any advice? I'm going to try calling Lufthansa tomorrow.

I guess worst case we lose the connection and have to book a new flight. Is Lufthansa good about helping with standbys in these situations, so we don't end up having to pay thousands for last minute flights? Would we be better off with my wife calling rather than me? Especially since she speaks a little German (only some French for me).

Ghost tour recs?

What are the best ghost tours in Rome? I'll be there with my 10 year old son, so not looking for anything that would keep him up at night. Maybe just part of the night.

Best ghost tour?

I'm visiting Boston and on a ghost tour. Really a history tour where they bring up some morbid history for fun. And I was wondering what the best ones are in Rome. I'll be there with my 10 year old son, so not looking for anything super scary. A bit scary is fine.

Where would be a good place to buy a baseball-style AS Roma cap if I'm only going to be in Rome for a couple days and staying in the city center?

Would it be best to just buy one in FCO?
