How Cooked am I about to be

broke down mid delivery (oil warning popped up wasn’t going to risk my car) pressed end route in app because I thought that’s how we’re meant to do it… 16 undelivered parcels and 1 return because the customer decided not to have it delivered while i was out. How bad is this going to hit me?

At what point are the miles too much?

Had a 4 hour morning block today £80 at DPE2 - Peterborough
Took me from Depot to St Neots, black cat round about which has had road works forever and down to sandy. Had to return a parcel but thankfully another shift next morning. Full round trip was 124 miles, if we don’t include the initial commute from home it was about 102 miles ish. I may have been lucky the past few days but this one felt a killer… what’s your miles limit? Should I be contacting support?
I still finished 45 mins early so I’m not sure.

It’s been a while…

Maybe new driver is the wrong term for me but I’ve been away from flex since April last year as I just really couldn’t be bothered but now I have a daughter and having the bit extra on the side just feels nice.

In the past year has anything changed?
New insurers allowing top up?
AVD changes or anything?

But the biggest one of all

HAVE THE RATES GONE UP?

Last year I averaged rates of about £18.50 that’s including Morrisons which was usually like £21 an hour to balance it out. Not trying to flex just seeing that government increased the mileage relief to 55p an hour made me a tad intrigued.

Sleep advice for mouth breathers

Hello everyone , thank you for taking the time to read this post but I have some serious questions and I’m looking for advice asap because this is progressively getting unbearable…

Long story short I have suffered from sleep apnea for a long few years and when I was diagnosed with this my consultant also examined my tonsils and said they were at-least grade 3 (size of golf balls) and removing them could definitely help with my obstructed airway and potentially remove the need for a breathing machine and mask entirely. For more context I’m 26 and after 3 years of back and forth they finally agreed to do it and warned me of the pain. I agreed it all and It was done. Splendid swift and stayed in hospital overnight.. the thing that was making my throat swell was my sleep mask and machine. Since it’s been the case all times prior ny cpap machine would dry out my mouth.

When I was released home I got to be stuck the mask on and when I woke up the swelling was unbelievable I couldn’t open my mouth or swallow water so hydration was near impossible. I’m now stable after having ambulance bestow wisdom and basically said it’s a catch 22 you need the mask to help you sleep but recovery will be worse because it dries your throat out or you sleep without it may not be the best sleep and could suffocate. I am not liking these options right now but I need to find a way to not mouth breathe!

PS I have written this 2 days post operation on little to no sleep so I hope it makes some sense how do I breathe out my nose when I sleep
