Everyone's doing their thing in the circus. (This can take place before or after episode 9)

When suddenly everything glitches out and blanks for a minute.

Everyone panics a little bit and caine Tries to figure out what happened

And he somehow figures out that the power in the building went out for a minute.

But makes the unfortunate discovery that they're now running on the generator. Which unfortunately only has a week left in it.

Depending on how time works in the digital circus. The cast only has a week (give or take) left before the power fully goes out.

What if at the end everyone either abstracts or gets deleted.

But suddenly we cut to the cast in the real world.

All of them living their normal lives never having met each other.

Which means yes the cast that we know are gone but effectively they're all okay and still alive in the real world.

So, in the words of jax, it was never real, so it doesn't matter, it never did.
