DISCLAIMER: I have no history of spamming recipients, I have no history of using my iMessage app for business oriented and commercial advertisement usage, I only text other individuals that I know regarding casual personal topics.

Yes as you can see in this abominable title, my phone number was initially blocked for certain iMessage features on June 6,2026. I can still normally text my contacts but my messages aren’t blue and I can’t use iMessage features like message reactions. After I initially noticed this I contacted Apple Support on June 6,2026, I was informed that since this is the first time this has happened I was eligible for a one time unblock exception and that all I had to do was submit an unblock request form and wait 24 hours for a response, well 24 hours later on June 7,2026, I didn’t receive a response so I contacted Apple Support again, this time I spoke to a senior advisor, he informed me that the one time unblock exception for my number was still in progress and that my number would be unblocked for iMessaging on June 8,2026. June 8th arrives and I’m still not able to use iMessaging normally, I contacted Apple Support once again and was informed that my number was unblocked and that I just needed to “wait” until my iCloud messaging recalibrates, I talked to a senior advisor and a representative the next day and was informed that my number was unblocked and there were no more further issues with my number regarding access to iMessage and they recommended that I contact my carrier service to complete an esim refresh (my carrier service is T Mobile). After doing this momentarily my imessaging was working normally again thirty minutes after completing an esim refresh, I even contacted one more senior advisor just to confirm that everything was fine while doing this, and once again I was informed that my number was fine and iMessage was activated. Hours later today my imessaging conversations all returned back to green, I contacted apple again today and was informed by a different senior advisor that my number is blocked and all of the information that the previous senior advisors informed me with was false, literally after hearing this I was fulfilled with saddening anger. The only solutions now that this particular senior advisor offered to me to possibly regain normal access to iMessage with my current phone number is by either submitting a normal request or an escalation review, I chose the escalation review and he told me that he will contact me on Tuesday to disclose the final status of the review . Has this ever happened to anyone with Apple Support and iMessaging?
