I sometimes hear a sound as if water is being fed somewhere for a few seconds after extraction, or a few minutes after turning the machine on. It’s not the sound of water being discharged into the drip tray—I know that sound. It sounds more like water moving through a tube or pipe. There is no water going into the drip tray because the discharge has already finished, and I can hear the solenoid valve closing.
Is this normal?
I’m not sure if what I mean is clear in this video.

I haven’t used the machine for 3 days and it has been unplugged. I found a small amount of cold water (more than just a few drops) in this opening. Is it normal for this to happen? There is no water in the drip tray, only in this opening. Machine: Breville Barista Express.

Is it normal to hear this ticking sound after the purging operation ends when I turn on the machine or pulling a shot ? No water coming out into the drip tray during the sound happens .

Machine works great, but this sound worries me.

Is it normal to hear a sound of water running through a pipe from inside the machine after brewing a shot , it happens after solenoid shuts off. NO WATER COMING OUT, purging is over.[Breville Barista Express]

Someone told me it’s refilling the boiler, is that correct? Because the sound is like water fed to somewhere. It takes seconds after purging into the drip tray. Machine works well, no issues at all.

I heard a sound like water flowing or moving through a pipe, sound coming from group head or drip tray , even though there is no water coming out.

A few minutes after running some water to warm up the group head, while I was prepping my puck, I heard a brief sound of water flowing from the group head or somewhere near the drip tray. However, I didn’t see any water coming out from anywhere or into the drip tray . Why would this happen? Is it normal?

Everything is working perfectly, and the espresso tastes great.(Breville Barista Express).
