Just caught up to volume 42. Here are my thoughts so far on the continuation. (Manga spoilers)

I didnt dislike it, but didnt love it either. The main thing I didnt like is that very little happens. I've seen people complain about Guts, but I feel like its reasonable for him to be completely shattered right now. I really hope the director now isn't bullshitting when he says that he has enough details about the story moving forward that they will even have fairly accurate scenes and dialogue, but I'm certainly not expecting them to nail subtle character development and pacing the way Miura was able to. Long story short, I'll read 43 when it comes out and give it a fair shot, because I think its too soon to say if the continuation sucks or not yet.

What's the best/most popular rendition of your country's national anthem?

I'm from America, and I think a lot of people consider Whitney Houston's rendition at the 1991 super bowl to be the best one of our anthem. I'd like to hear some good recordings of other anthems, so if you comment your favorite version of your country's, I'll check it out!

Stupid post but does anyone know if you can deposit a check with the ATM at the Vystar in San Marco?

I went to the riverside location today and found that their ATM doesn't accept checks -_- I have a limited time window in the morning tomorrow to hit the bank and get a check deposited, so does anyone know if the SM locations ATM will let me do that? Thanks

My Employer (ocarina cover)

I was inspired by a fellow homie who posted their ocarina of time cover the other day, so I just made this. I wish you could record more notes at a time to do longer covers but it is what it is

Is this sticker from Blockbuster or a similar company?

Ive had a couple copies of OoT since the early 00's, this one is a Grey 1.0 cartridge but I never really thought about the sticker until now. It reads "If this security seal is tampered with or removed, you may be charged full retail price of this item." Did I accidentally steal this from blockbuster as a kid or something?

Is there a glitch or exploit to collect this skulltula as child?

Pardon the CRT photo lol. Its in the dodongos room with the giant staircase. Only thing I can possibly think of is that maybe before dropping the staircase, it may have been possible to store a ground jump to get onto the stairs and backflip up or something.

Can someone double check my counterpoint?

Sorry that its a little messy. I havent taken a theory course in years but I'd like to practice up on my counterpoint and some other topics. Does this all look good for 1st species? My main complaint after playing it all was that there was a little too much similar movement in a few exercises, which I'm going to actively try to avoid next time I do some practice. Thanks!

Where can I go to get a single piece of metal cut down to size?

Im putting up some shelving and just need to cut about 8 inches off one of the aluminum rods that holds the shelves up. Surely theres somewhere I can go for something like that right?

Stuck with this one

I havent learned many of the more "advanced" techniques but I dont see any way to eliminate other candidates with the tricks that I do know (pointing groups, hidden doibles/triples/quads, and x wing, primarily). If someone can help me out with a block or two I think I can take it from there. Thanks

Dishwasher is tripping GFCI outlet (more details in body)

Hey guys, I've been having some problems with my dishwasher and garbage disposal. I'll start with the disposal just in case it's relevant info: The motor was burned out when I moved into my new place recently, and it was badly clogged. I'd drano/plunger it and it would work fine short term, but never for more than a day or so. Then the dishwasher stopped draining properly, which I assumed was related to the pipe clog since I could hear the pump running. I took everything under the sink apart and cleaned all the hoses, snaked the main water line out to the sewer, cleaned the entire disposal system, etc. I did find a berry that was clogging the dishwasher line, for what its worth, and it seemed to drain fine when I booted it back up. The dishwasher (LG brand) started displaying the error code AE, which means that moisture was detected in pan below the tub AFAIK. We just replaced the disposal motor, the code went away at around the same time, but now the dishwasher is tripping the GFCI. I unplugged the disposal and ran the dishwasher to make sure it wasnt related to the new motor too.

So my thinking is that there's still moisture somewhere in the dishwasher that shouldn't be there, and its touching something electrical occasionally and tripping the outlet. It doesnt happen immediately when you turn it on, either. Sometimes it runs for 10 min, sometimes for 30, etc before it trips. Any ideas on where to look/how to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance!

Lag issues with HDMI adapter

I just bought an AV to HDMI adapter to use on a new TV (pictured), and the input lag is insane. Is it just going to be that way with any adapter, or is there a different brand I should look for? My last TV was also pretty new but still had RCA ports on the back, this adapter feels unplayable in comparison.
