Partner made me Strawberry Shortcake for my birthday 💛
Cake is victoria sponge cake from Simply Vegan Baking by Freya Cox. We used Nature's Charm Coconut Whipping Cream for the fresh cream layer. Tasted quite fresh and moreish!

LOUD's meaning was not for me until.....
I am blessed with a relationship where my partner and I can love each other LOUDLY. I love the song but know that I can not truly relate to the intent behind the lyrics.
Until I went to the living room today and realized........this song is for my cats. They are the touch-me-not type of cats (especially in summers). They like to exist and chill around us without being touched or cuddled. My one cat only ever climbed to my lap TWICE across the four years they have lived with us, the other one has never even done that. Just let me chomp your faces out of cute agression, god dang it.
Safe to say, I have been singing this song to their faces since its release. I think they appreciate it. From a distance, of course.
