Proliance Orthopedics in Highlands?

Curious if anyone else has experienced this issue after visiting the Proliance Orthopedics outpatient clinic in the Highlands?...

Since about 2024, every time we have visited there for any appts, we get knocked down with flu or upper respiratory crud right after. Even wearing masks has not seemed to prevent this. This has happened to both me and my spouse.

We don't visit there that regularly, these appts happen a couple times a year at the most for minor issues.

If you've been there, then you know the second floor outpatient clinic is constantly overcrowded with people coming in/out, has cramped seating and hot/stagnant air ventilation in the waiting area.

We are otherwise super healthy and do not experience this problem after visiting other medical facilities, including hospitals, if needed for other appts.

Has anybody else had this happen repeatedly after going there too? It is getting weird and seems like it has happened too many times now to be a coincidence.

Debating about whether we will go back there again even though we really like the PA we see. We are now sick (yet again) with upper respiratory crud after a recent visit and it sucks 😷😷

The saga of the red mystery car continues...?

Cruised by the post office & the writing on the abandoned red car has been smeared out. And there's a City of Issaquah card taped to the car.

Is someone actually getting fragile about the car after all this time & references to this sub? 😆

FRA (me) & SSDI spouse: multiple questions

Halp! I will be reaching my FRA in October 2026/age 66-10 mos. (Turn 67 in December 2026).

I wish to continue working full-time as long as I can... but want to collect at FRA/67. To make things simple tax wise, I was planning to start my first SSA payment in January 2027.

I currently earn about 150K a year (pre tax salary) in a full time tech job and plan to ride that horse till it dies...or I do. 😆

Will there be any clawback of my SS benefits if I continue working at this salary after starting benefits at FRA/Jan 2027? Is there a better reason to start benefits as soon as I qualify at FRA in late 2026 vs Jan?

Also...my Spouse is medically disabled and collects SSDI. They turn 62 in December 2026 also. It's my understanding that my spouse can collect benefits on my record if I collect at FRA? We have been married 20 years.

If so, how do we facilitate that? Do they need a separate appointment with SSA? Will this adversely affect my spouse in any way in terms of SSDI benefits or cause any issues with their eligibility?

I know if income goes up, Medicare premiums can increase, so I'm aware of that piece and of course income tax, etc.

I am very confused about all of this otherwise right now.

Appreciate the help.
