First play of Organism

First play of Organism

Oof, this is turn three!

The first organism was revealed by a test kit on turn 2. I then had two exposed victims hit by frostbite on their 2nd turn outside. One was safe (but died of the frost bite) the second was an organism.

I thought letting the bad weather expose the organisms would be a good idea but now I'm questioning this tactic 😆

Fully expecting to die but still loving it!

Couple of questions while I have you here:

  1. I know I do all bloodlust actions when an organism is revealed. I'm assuming I follow the core rules and do each action as the meter goes up too? (It seems very busy so thought I'd clarify)

  2. the way the dark power card is written ("this mutated organism") it sounds like its a power card per organism? So as one victim was not mutated, that last power slot is not used?

Gold guns- what's the point?

So I have come back to Arc Raiders after a pause and decided to finally do the expedition. I've managed to do that so now let's YOLO with all the stuff in my vault.

I stick to PVE generally in this game and do enjoy the tension of, "Is this next person going to be hostile?" Whenever I take in a gold gun though, that tension disappears as I know I'll have to deal with someone at some point. I haven't had a single match where I've taken a gold gun and not been attacked/murdered for it when encountering another player. This is deeeeeep into PVE lobbies and yet everyone turns into some form of rat or murder goblin when they're alone. Just done a harvester mission, called a elevator, and the person thats started the interior elevator button has immediately turned and started shooting once the guitar comes out.

Like i said, Im losing all my gear in a day anyways so I dont care about the deaths (ratting a musician is the crime in my eyes). If it wasn't for the expedition, I wouldn't paint a target on my back by using them so openly either. Its just made me wonder, what's the point of even using these guns in normal circumstances? It basically becomes a death sentence to carry them? From what I understand, they suck for PVP also, so its not like I'm taking them into the wrong kind of lobbies either.

Yellow leaves in flower

Hi all! Im very new, this is my first grow and have fell down a rabbit hole with this and am loving it. I think there is going to be a part of me thats sad to see the plants chopped.

That said, I think I'm getting close to harvest time (the guide on the seeds put harvest at 13/06). I have 2 questions though

  1. Im keeping an eye on the trichomes of the plant. At least I am trying to. One minute I think they are looking milky, the next Im convinced they still look too clear. Any opinions/guidance on this? (Sorry for the photo through the loupe. Not great quality I know.)

  1. The leaves on my plants look very yellow compared to other photos I have seen on budding plants. I have heard about the fade but am worried this is something else. I switched from nutrients to molasses flush about 2 weeks ago and am scared i started too soon. Now its too late to switch back? Also, some of the guides I am reading say that if the plant goes yellow like this, to harvest regardless of whether it is 100% the right time as the flowers may start dying too.

I suppose I am looking for a bit of reassurance and advice. My plan had been to give it a week, keeping a close eye and harvest when Im more certain the trichomes look good. Maybe even wait for a bit of amber. Or should I just be chopping them now? Thanks in advance!
