The rebound is real. So many players are coming back. Also, the free weekend is definitely helping. The real test will begin after the free weekend ends.
I love this game, but nothing excites me at all about collecting furniture pieces for a digital club house. Is this Barbie Build a House?
Edit: I was not aware at posting that some of the shelves can be used to store extra items. That is actually pretty useful! Still... I don't want nor need a damn chair, chandelier, etc. That all feels like unnecessary clutter in an already cluttered game.
Just a lil snippet from a clip I edited to have a lil style for my YouTube channel. We were trying to fight the Matriarch and these dudes started sniping at us from the tower shown above and so I set in motion a little plan to flank them and ended up pulling off a pretty neat play and wiped them:)))
Also, I apologize for the bad volume balancing and sub par editing skills, I am just a gamer but I think this one's a lot better than some previous stuff I've done lol, even if this is pretty bare bones
I honestly love how this update has made everything feel new again. Even though I’ve already put a good amount of time into ARC Raiders, there’s something about Frozen Trails that makes me feel like I’m still discovering the game for the first time.
Everything feels exciting again, and I love that feeling of having so much left to learn, explore, and work toward. My favorite part is that endgame feels so far away again, in the best possible way. Instead of feeling like I’m just repeating the same loop after reaching a certain point, I feel like there’s still so much ahead of me.
I really hope Embark understands how special that feeling is and keeps finding ways to bring it back with future updates.
I’m curious how everyone else feels. Are you guys getting that same feeling, or is it just me? Do you think Frozen Trails has given the game a fresh start, or do you think that excitement will wear off once we’ve had more time with it?
I feel like there’s something really special about a game making you feel like a beginner again without actually being one.

Why are streamers able to show off their cheats so confidently without getting banned? Easily found these guys just advertising their shitty product. Pretty bummed out at the state of cheating.
I feel like from a business standpoint most future extraction games will be pretty much all PVE/Co-OP
I just got active matter and like 80% of people are picking pve only.
It seems like the market for PVP in these games is actually tiny and almost everyone I talk to is PVE only. You literally need to play PVP like its a second job or a sport to participate in it so it drives most normal people away.
PVP seems like a small ultra hardcore minority these days. Not great for a business.
Most normal regular folks don't go near PVP it seems like - or they give it a shit and a giggle a few times - get shit on by '[insert-name]FPS_TTV-YT' and then stop.
I'm thinking about picking up this game on PS5 and i have a few questions (if that's allowed) here:
Is a headset/microphone necessary? The one I own is broken and the ps5 built in microphone is terrible.
Is the learning curve steep?
Is it worth getting for a casual player? I have a few hours per week to play and can't grind relentlessly.
As a single player will it be hard to survive in (like Rust)?

I’m thinking about 3D printing a figure from our game, around 20 cm tall.
The two in the picture are the ones I’m most interested in, but I was wondering if anyone has printed a different figure. Is there another one you’d recommend?
P.S. I’m not talking about Arcs, but the Rider figure.
Here are some ideas, that could be implemented quite quickly, and hopefully would find many player loving that. All of them would fit in quite seamlessly and don’t change the game itself.
change the logic for augments:
number of safepockets is corresponding to the colour for all augments:
green - one safepocket
blue - two safepockets
purple - three
Shields according to intended usage:
looting augments - light
tactical augments - medium
combat augments - heavy
🔥 every augment is equipped with grey binos. You can additionally upgrade its optical attachments
green - plus enemy recognition
blue - above plus basic night vision
purple - all above plus infared thermal vision
>let us have seperate, dynamic compartments in our inventory, so it will look more organised (ammo is automatically next to ammo for example.)
>let us use items instantly when we find them, or out of our inventory. It sucks to put every item in the quickuse first and then use it.
>let us carry or pull downed and dead raiders. Come on…
>an onboard power management, so we could choose if we put energy in our shields, or towards gadgets (cloack, snaphook etc.)
>topside workbenches for repair/recycle
Change of items:
-sterilizend bandages stack 5
-crash mats like 4x the size or even larger
-make tagging grenade radius at least 4x more and look through walls
-light sticks with a much longer duration
-buff Rascal to a grey or green item
