If this is true, then I think it's a good move made by Sony. We don't really need another Live service disaster from the PlayStation side. Just give us good-quality single-player stories.
The weapon seems cool, but is it enough? I love the fact that they are experimenting with a lot of stuff. However, they really need to push more meaningful content if they hope to survive in the long run.
As a day-one Apex Legends player, I completely agree that the game's identity has changed completely. But that's not a bad thing at all. A live service game must evolve with time. And I loved all the changes Respawn has made in recent times. Yes, the game has certainly become more ability spammy, but this is a hero shooter, and I think it is ok as long as Respawn can maintain balance.

They are apparently trying another experiment after Vault Breaker. While the new weapon tease is cool, what I'm really excited about is the better ranked loot. I think Bungie is doing a great job of listening to the community and, most importantly experimenting with new game modes. I think they might be releasing another new game mode with the next update next week, as far as I know.

While Devil May Cry 3 was my introduction to the series, DMC 4 and 5 are still my favorites. That said, I’ve always thought the combat in the 2013 DmC reboot was genuinely solid. It was a completely different take on the series, but some of the changes made the combat feel much more accessible without making it boring.
As much as I love the depth and complexity of DMC 4 and 5’s combat, the reboot still holds a special place in my heart. I know the game gets a lot of deserved criticism for how it handled the story and several fan-favorite characters, but I still really enjoyed it.
The Limbo sections in particular were some of my favorite parts. The constantly shifting environments were great. I replayed them very recently, and they still hold up, imo.
Another round of layoffs just hit them. At this rate, the future looks uncertain.
Did they really unofficially nerf aim-assist?
I think Respawn made some bold decisions for the next season. They are finally tuning down the speed meta. Fingers crossed.
I agree with what he said. It really would be a shame to see this culture just die out within the next couple of years.
Capcom really made an impact with this game. Now, every other studio is remaking their old classic just like Capcom did with this masterpiece.

From what I saw, the player base tripled since this new update dropped. And there seems to be a genuine interest in PVE. I think Bungie will turn this into a permanent game mode.
