stupid attendance policy
i’ve had to call out for sick days before, but i never had any kind of doctor’s note to show for my absence (i don’t go to the doctor very often). i was rushed to the emergency room at 4 this morning and diagnosed with a kidney stone after almost 7 hours of waiting. they gave me a doctor’s note to excuse me until thursday. i put in PPTO for tomorrow and called my PL to explain the situation and she interrupted me to say that a doctor’s note wouldn’t excuse my attendance points. wtf is wrong with walmart and why did they introduce this stupid system in the first place?? i don’t have enough PPTO to cover monday AND tuesday so idk what to do. i only have 1 attendance point rn but idk how many points calling out 2 days in a row will get me
