Fenerbahce match “high risk”

From: https://onefootball.com/en/news/lyon-to-restrict-ticketing-for-fenerbahce-champions-league-play-off-second-leg-43267351

Lyon will tighten security and restrict ticketing for the Champions League play-off return against Fenerbahçe at Groupama Stadium on Wednesday 26 August, a fixture likely to be classified high or very high risk.

A major meeting is scheduled at the Lyonpréfecture on Thursday afternoon to finalise security measures and strict coordination between stakeholders. According to L'Équipe, it will cover arrangements for the 26 August tie

Authorities fear potential clashes between ultra groups, with concerns heightened by Lyon’s sizeable Turkish diaspora, the expected arrival of many Turkish supporters and recent history.

Since the draw a week ago, OL have worked to control their ticketing and to limit the presence of unsupervised Turkish spectators.

From Thursday late morning, sales on the club’s website will open exclusively to season-ticket holders, with prices starting at 12 euros. Each holder can buy up to four seats for the match.

The club will remind holders, estimated at 26,000, that resale is banned and tickets are digitally traced. If a user of their purchased ticket offends inside the stadium, the buyer could face penal liability and loss of their subscription without refund.

After that, sales will extend to regular spectators on club lists from next Monday, subject to availability. This segmentation is meant to prevent recent one-off buyers, for example those at the 3-0 win over Sparta Prague, from accessing the stands.

Prague match at groupama

I’ve been burned by OL (well, Ligue 1 I guess) in the past; any thoughts if the date or time will move?

Floor mats for Hybrid 5008

Given the 3-part floormat for the hybrid 5008 is totally useless, is there a third party one that doesn't suck?

2025 Hybrid 12v battery issues - common?

So I had a trip to make over the weekend and on Sunday morning when I went back to my car the battery was dead. Guy came to get it going, 3v output, put the booster pack on it and right up to 12v (plus a bit more as the hybrid battery was giving it some help). Drove it to a dealer who said the battery was dead but they couldn't source a battery as there were supply issues and the lady said she had heard there were lots of issues with them so either the supplier was changing or they'd just run out. In the end I got it replaced at a car parts dealer just down the road but this was in France so you'd expect the supply chain for a Peugeot dealer would be efficient.

Anyway, has anyone heard anything about this as an 11-month old (37k km) battery dying seems strange (the Citroen dealer told me I clearly had bad info as that's "not possible").

Season tickets available

Just saw on the website that there's season tickets available for those amongst us who weren't already subscribed in previous years.

Going to Melbourne (AU) and Queenstown (NZ) in Q4... where?

As subject. Aware of the obvious places and absent anything new, may just book Attica in MEL but I've got a quick trip to visit companies my company invested in and I'd like to have a good meal or two to justify a 7-day return EU-AU-NZ-EU which is a killer. Thoughts?

Added bonus if there's anything truly exciting in Sydney. Ate at Ester last year, amazing but looking for something similar to the long closed Oriana in Adelaide.
