I started with Xfinity 5 years ago almost now. I had a 100mbps or 300mbps plan I forget. It was $60 a month. They kept calling offering upgrades. I asked the first two times of it was free and if they would change anything with my contact. They said it's free and no changes. The third time they offered, I did not clarify if it was a free upgrade, but the last two times were. Well I accepted the upgrade and I now pay 120 a month. Is this even legal? It feels like fraud. This is definitely not in the consumers best interest. What can be done to have this deceptive practice stopped? Can I get my money back some how?
