Does the rear squat bother anyone else? The thing looks freighted without any groceries in it. Is this an X-Line thing or do they all squat?

I have an 8ft covered wraparound porch that needs to be replaced. Should I be using continuous posts from footings to roof and bolting the rim joists to the posts? Or, should I land a beam on the post and use a separate column to the roof? I feel like the continuous post is the way to go but wish I didn’t have to bolt the rim joists.
