Question on Jordan 5 Netting

I’m looking to paint behind the netting of a pair of 5s. Is it possible to remove the existing netting without damaging it? I’ve watched netting replacement tutorials and it seems straight forward, but my question is can I save the original netting or will it be necessary to find a replacement? I’m striking out finding replacement netting online.

My First Customs (Union Fragment Low)

After watching dozens of tutorials I finally bit the bullet and customized my first pair of lows. Bought a used pair of Game Royals (pic from eBay listing on last slide) and went to work. Painted every panel, deconstructed and stitched on the tongue, replaced the tongue tag (which was too small and turned into a pain), and painted part of the laces. Definitely see how this is going to turn into an addiction haha.
