I used ActivityWatch for a while, and it is an amazing piece of software, but it doesn't have a blocking/notification feature. I was concerned about the time I spent on social media, but I couldn't quite remind myself to break free.

So I created a script to launch an image reminding me of my absorption into the digital drugs of Big Tech and the divergence from reality. It is relentless, and it starts on startup. I am very pleased with how it works. It saved me almost 2h/day the past week alone. I want to share it here.
