Inherited this gorgeous sapphire and diamond ring recently and i am completely in love with the blue color against the side stones. my main worry is whether the prongs look strong enough to handle regular use or if i should get it re-tipped by a local jeweler.

has anyone here taken an older piece to get evaluated before, and what kind of cost should i expect? would love to know if there are specific signs of wear i should check for myself first.

Trying to figure out the perfect wedding band to go with my small diamond ring. Do I go simple and thin, or is it cool to add a tiny halo or accent stones?

My husband proposed with a marquise cut and I loved it at first, but now I keep wondering if I should've had a say before he picked it. Not that I'm ungrateful, just curious how common that is. For those who have one, do you have any regrets with your marquise cut diamond ring, or did it grow on you over time?

I went in there last weekend thinking I would just browse and kill time, but I ended up trying on a couple diamond wedding rings mall at rockingham park and now I'm stuck on one style. I keep wondering if I only liked it because I was having too much time and my fiance was doing that polite nod like yes dear. Also I feel like everything looks bigger on my hand until I see it in normal daylight and then its like oh thats it. Not sure if thats just me being weird about it

Ended up picking my own wedding band, but being able to choose my own diamond band made the experience so much better. It fits my style perfectly and looks amazing. It’s such a relief to have a piece I know I’ll love wearing every single day. Definitely glad we did it this way!
