Starting this series called Project Bloom. Always been a talented sketcher since a kid but staying an artist as an adult is something you have to fight for. Started this Japanese ink practice in 2020 and it became a daily thing without me planning it. The brush was never about being good at it. It was about having something that was mine. Every time things got heavy I came back to the brush and paper.

Project Bloom is a series of ink drawings built around flowers and figures with personality.

Worked in bar service for about two years and started sketching a speed opener based on the tools I used during shifts. This is an early prototype focused on silhouette, play, and function. Still refining some details but wanted to share the direction.
