Sometimes the Orthodox Church is so close to universalism, yet still so far... it's like they are stopping right before the destination. Why is taking one more step considered heresy?
Did jesus really ,, satisfied God's wrath "? Is this why He came here? We are sinners deserving of death- when I say this to myself it puts me in a state of hate towards me, makes me feel worthless, and hated by God. I really don't think He wants us to feel this way. I think He would most likely want us to be strong, bold in our faith, trusting in Him, and show fruits of love. Even the tiniest bit of fear can do a lot of damage
Why does this segregation persevere in the Protestant church? Obviously by propagating this ideea of Hell they are placing themselves higher then those who aren't,,saved,,
So what do Universalists believes our relationships will be like in Heaven (new earth)? I know we will have new bodies, and still be humans, but what about the relationship between us and our spouses? Will that be different or even unique than the relationships with everyone else? Will I still be able to hold my husband's hand, hug him, or will I hold everyone s hand in the same way? Like, will it be even a tiny bit more personal with him in comparison to the others?
I won't even touch the notion of sex, even though I don't have knowledge about that either
