Tickets changed before showing

So something odd happened to my friends and I today. And if you’re going to comment and just go “yeah, they just changed screens”, actually read it ALL before commenting because it’s not a simple screen swap. Those aren’t weird.

We all had tickets booked for supergirl at 10:40 at Stevenage in screen 14. Booked within a couple of minutes of each other last week.

But today by chance, we were adding a fourth who wasn’t sure was going to make it. He asked what seats we had and we went “oh, M14-16”.

And his response is “there is no row M in screen 8”.

We just though the screen was fully booked and they added a second screen at that time. Not unheard of.

But then the weird bit. My ticket was screen 14. But the other 2 who booked their tickets together now had a ticket saying screen 8 M14-15. But as I say - there is no row M in that screen.

And the tickets were definitely screen 14 before - we always send screenshots of the confirmation to each other as we book so that a) there’s no risk of typos, and b) if our phones play up on the day, we have backups of the QR codes for everyone on everyone’s phones.

So beyond the obvious annoyance of “we were sitting together and now we’re not even in the same screen, that we solved by just cancelling all the tickets and booking screen 8 tickets (which also told us they hadn’t just moved everyone to another screen as it was almost empty), has anyone ever had that happen, Cineworld just changing you to a different screen without the original screen being cancelled? And what would have happened to my friends if they’d used their tickets for seats that don’t exist?

Votal Analysis of the GOAT - Jeff Hayes

So I'm a follower of Elizabeth at the Charismatic Voice. She mostly does analysis of music, how people sing and things, but she's also a colossal nerd and has been getting into LitRPG. And she was so blown away by Jeff that she did a vocal analysis of him. Figured some of us might want a watch.

▲ 1 r/ARFID

So for the longest time (literally 25+ years) I've had my ARFID under control. Limited diet, but apart from a bit of low iron, nutritionally complete and I've actually managed to get from the low end of obese to the top of healthy this last year.

But, my main safe food has always been Heinz spaghetti. And they've changed it so that the strands are now short instead of long. Which has obviously changed the texture. First time in years I failed to finish a tin.

And without that, my stress over food and ability to eat has taken a huge hit. Which has been further excaserbated by supply chain issues with one of my other safe foods.

I never looked for support with it before because, as I say, I had it controlled. But this last week or so I've only been eating every other day, and three of the meals were from the fish and chip shop. Can't be doing fried food all the time, on health or cost.

So, the question I have is - if you got somewhere with getting support from your GP, are there any tips you've to get them to take it seriously, especially if you're in the "healthy" weight category?
