If you’re obese and have gastritis/IBS symptoms for more than a year, get a liver scan!

Long time lurker, I have had gastritis since 2018 and was on meds and had worse years of my life. However lately, I started noticing that my stomach pain was there even when I didn’t have any acid refluxes. I have had many blood tests, two endoscopies, scans but nothing helped. But four weeks ago, had an ultrasound and diagnosed with fatty liver.
I stopped my meds and started working out and eating clean and started taking vitamins and supplements (with doctors’ consent).
I lost 5kg quickly by dieting + workouts and my gastritis is gone for good. I can eat like normal, average spicy food, dark chocolate and drink black coffee. (But I still avoid alcohol, red meat, fast food and processed food for health reasons).

Apparently liver problems can cause gastritis due to bile production issues. Fix your liver and you fix your gut.

My supplements stack: fish oil, vitamin E, zinc L-carnosine, L-glutamine, vitamin D3 +K

Food: overnight soaked fenugreek, kefir with freshly grated tumeric, ginger, and black pepper, 0% fat Greek yogurt with blueberries and walnuts, chicken breast with turmeric powder, salt and pepper, cooked mung beans, red rice, fish, leafy greens.

Hope this helps! Don’t give up folks. Peace.

I started investing about an year ago (34M) and was investing mostly in ETFs.
Yesterday I moved the interest from my cash ISA and invested in high conviction AI stocks (stocks ISA).
But now I hear the market is nearing a correction. What’s your take on that? Should I double down on AI / tech stocks or stick to ETFs?
(TSLA was a bonus stock from referrals)

I’m in mid 30s and looking for a car to drive to work (2 days a week, 90 miles up and down) and rest of the week it’s mostly going to the gym and supermarket.
I currently have a nice 2020 Mazda CX-5, it’s not giving any problems at all but I would like something nicer for a change.
This one is relatively low mileage (43k) and one previous owner. However I’m aware that buying a second hand luxury car is not a good idea according to many. What are actual downsides of buying this? I’m planning to buy outright, not lease so negative equity is not a factor.
