Same character (Castorice) 1 year later. Really didn’t like my realism, spent the year trying to get more comfortable drawing in an anime art style cause I sucked at it. I’m not exactly where I wanna be yet but I’m proud of where I’ve gotten. There’s a much bigger improvement between my first anime character and this one however lol.
Drew Makoto from p5, like how it came out kinda but I feel like it’s a tad bit bland? Do I have to render the hair more? Add harsher shadows? Add more light in the hair? Any ideas welcome
Also if you happen to notice anything that looks off like where the light or shadows lie or the neck, etc, it’d be greatly appreciated.
Sketch of Rise from p4, just want a second pair of eyes on this, been trying to improve my anatomy, clothes, perspective etc. If there is anything that looks off from face to legs please lmk. I wasn’t too confident in doing the shoes and skirt so I feel like it looks weird. If you wanna draw over it go ham, any critique helps.
