[Chicago Tribune/Caroline Kubzansky] Man arrested and charged with slugging spectator at Wrigley Field during City Series

I’m not sure by the reporting here if the cocaine and other offenses were directly tied to the brawl or not.

Good Butcher In Rogers Park for Steak?

Being fairly new to RP I haven't looked for a good butcher yet, but I want to make some steak tomorrow, and if possible I'd love for it to be wagyu, but it's not necessary. I don't have a car or a lot of time to criss-cross the Northside all day, so I'm hoping to find something nearby. Do any local stores have a good steak selection?

I *WAS* Going To Go Into The Office Today...

But I think I'd rather stay at home and breathe recirculated, conditioned air instead. Y'all stay safe out there.

Leone and Loyola Beaches This Morning

My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood a few weeks ago from Ravenswood. Going from a walkable prairie preserve to beach access - all in the same city - is really great.

Favorite Printed Maps of Chicago?

My wife and I are about to move, and one of the decorations that I've always wanted is a nice printed map of Chicago. I'd like to see if I can get some inspiration from this sub. Does anyone have a favorite printed map of Chicago proudly hanging on their wall? And it would be extra helpful if you could note where you got it from.

Black And White Wednesday

I never shoot in black and white but I decided to get a little dramatic yesterday. I'm by no means a photographer, even an amateur one, so any credit goes to my iPhone and luck.

Are There Any Public-Accessible Views of The River From an Elevation?

The coffee hasn't caught up to my brain quite yet this morning, so hopefully I'm making sense. I've lived here for four years and I still love taking pictures of the river, River North, and the Loop. But I'd love to get an elevated view of the area if there was public access in a building somewhere that would allow it. Googling around tells me that there might not be anything, but I thought I'd ask here. Note: I'm just an occasional iPhone photographer, nothing serious, but sometimes the bug bites and it's gotten a hold of me recently.
