Won this in an auction but they didn’t have much info aside from “Russian 87.5% silver”. Altogether weighs 117g, looks like imported silver that was assayed in St. Petersburg from 1908-1926 (Greek alpha under the woman’s profile) although I’m having a devil of a time sorting out the other hallmark. Any tips?
Woo! I love finding McKee jadeite. Even if this is only the base and it was in the vintage section of a thrift store, it still felt like a nice find at $28 CDN. Now to find the matching cover… although it works as a nice little tray for now!
The band on this ring is sadly cracked, so my gf and I are trying to find out whether we should go to a jeweller to get it repaired. Any idea if the markings mean that it includes diamonds, or a ruby, or maybe who made it? We appreciate the help in advance!
