My island is almost at full capacity, yet I still want to add more miis and I'm too lazy to start a new island from scratch. Because of this, I've started editing some of my older Miis that either got hit hard by the "gas leak," or ones that I was never really happy with how they turned out into completely different characters.

I have to say, despite the unfortunate leftover fashion and belong choices and the psychological horror implications that the person you were married to and had a kid with changes into a completely different person overnight, being able to keep the old news broadcasts, levels, and relationships is a huge plus.
