Painted up the Manticor force for the Skirmish game Blkout. As a new dad with limited bandwidth I made it easy on myself. Primed black, drybrushed silver, then Vallejo red.
One last frivolous purchase before I have a huge lack of free time for a long while. I already have a 70mm Viper, a BF109, and a few other smaller prop planes, plus I 3D print planes a lot.
Love the look of both, but cant decide between the need for speed or the awesome look and scale of the Tucano.
Anyone got both that chime in?
I'm an experienced TTRPG GM, but I've never run anything crunchy like Traveller besides maybe Warhammer Fantasy 4e. Lately I've been running Mothership and been in a Sci-Fi mood and want something with more teeth that would be good for 6-12 3 hour sessions.

I do have the Drinax books but what I'm looking for is:

-Fast paced, or slow burn but with a solid finale
-Well rounded mix of ground and space encounters
-Good for a new GM and players (at the very least good for players)
