Pink Tax Rant

Hey guys,

Since I started using deodorant I used the Mitchum roll on and the White Solo. I

I was a very active child, played all the sports then went harder in high school. In uni I gymed often now I'm working and my active life has slowed down significantly.

I sweat like crazy and if it's not controlled I will smell very bad very fast.

That being said. At the beginning of this year I started using deodorant targeted for women. I went to the beach with my friend and she bought playgirl confident and it was amazing. I made the switch without hesitation.

I noticed I have to buy more every month, which I found so weird. But Mitchum is just built like that, I thought and the spray isn't as strong so I have to spray multiple times a day, that could be the reason why.

But today (fok it took me long), I'm at checkers reaching for playgirl spray (90ml) and I noticed the playboy spray is 150ml FOR THE EXACT SAME PRICE!

Mind you, it's the same company (owned and managed) Planet of Attraction.

I will be making the switch back to solo. This is menacing behaviour.

Shaving gel?

Hey guys,

I recently shaved my legs with a brow razor and shaving cream. Worked like an Ace. But the shaving cream was a bit drying. Has anyone ever used shaving gel? And what was your experience?

Winter Face Care Starter Pack

Hey guys,

So I used the following products, winter has been drying my face out significantly so I got creative with the after sun. It works great.

However, I would appreciate a recommendation for a different face cream. The cold cream clearly didn't doing enough. TIA💯

TW Marikana Massacre

Hey guys,

I think we moved passed the Marikana Massacre to fast. I think that should be declared a public holiday. A reminder of our governments corruption.

​

I know ofc that's not going to happen for obvious reasons. I was just a child when that whole thing went down but learning about it in present day. How was that not a significant moment of social uproar?

​

It's giving banana republic and it's terrifying that it happened in "modern" times.

Intimate Trimmer Review

Hey, last year I bought myself a wahl ntimate trimmer, it was on special at checker for R299.

I used to get a regular wax but since I can't afford it anymore I got the trimmer. I enjoy a clean shave however, the trimmer gets me a nice decent shave. I use a little bit of conditioner and just go for it. I highly recommend it. Im to impatient for razors and the creams so this is a good alternative.

​

I follow every use with vaya smooth to prevent ingrowns that's about R19,99 at clicks but you can find it at most grocery stores.
