Dog's right eye injured after grooming apt today 🥹

Hello- a few hours after my dog got home from his grooming appointment, I noticed he couldn't open one of his eyes. He has some discharge, it's not green or yellow.

I feel so bad for him- planning on calling vet tomorrow if not better- does anyone have any idea of what could have happened ?
