What to do with wobbly dracaena?

my dracaena is growing just fine but the stem is very wobbly and half of it is dead/hollow. it’s been like this for at least five years (despite a couple repottings). do I just let it continue like this, stake it? chop and prop? I inherited this plant from my mom so it‘s at least 15 years old.

it gets bright indirect light from the south and west facing windows and I water once every 1-2 weeks depending on how hot or cold it is and how the soil feels.

Need to downgrade CSR - looking for my next travel card

hi, I need to downgrade my CSR at the end of the month and am looking for my next travel card. I typically fly United and SW (although much less these days), occasionally Alaska. would appreciate any recs :)

  • Current cards:
    • CSR since May 2023, $26.8k limit
    • Chase Freedom Unlimited since 2018, $12k limit
    • NFCU signature cashRewards plus since July 2022, $20k limit
    • recently closed: bilt 1.0, opened in September 2025
  • FICO Score: 790+
  • Oldest account age: 13 years 3 months / average age: 6 years 5 months
  • Chase 5/24 status: 1/24
  • Income: $87k
  • Average monthly spend and categories:
    • dining $250
    • groceries: $200
    • gas: $100
    • travel: $150?? Not sure how to average this
    • Bills: $200
    • other: $500 (medical and other stuff)
  • Open to Business Cards: No
  • What's the purpose of your next card? Travel
  • Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Venture X, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Bilt 2.0 (Not sure which one, but also not fond of how complex it seems and the general issues I’ve seen..)
  • Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? open to category spending although prefer a simple setup

Need to downgrade CSR - wait to get CSP?

Hi, I posted in the mega thread but didn’t get a response so I’m posting here.

I need your downgrade my CSR at the end of the month. I’ve got about 20K in points that need to be used up. I see a lot of recommendations to downgrade to the CSP, but I’m hoping that I can still qualify for a SUB so I was going to downgrade to the freedom card with the rotating categories since I already have a CFU. I was also thinking of using this as a time to switch to a non-Chase travel card like the venture X since I will definitely have an international trip and domestic travel in the next couple of months. Bilt 2.0 also seems interesting and their transfer partners work decently well for me but it seems overly complex…

Am I missing anything by not downgrading to the CSP directly? Since I’ve only got 20K points should I just transfer those to a travel partner I will use for my domestic flights (United or begrudgingly Southwest)?

My renewal just posted so I’m gonna use the $300 travel credit to try to book a flight! has anyone had any trouble using the credit and then changing their flight afterwards?
