Drifting

Stock power NC, on the factory Bilsteins with LSD and 6-speed. What tires and what size are you guys using in the rear for drifting? Recently got bit by the bug and have been having a lot of fun sliding it but the 10 year old all seasons I’ve been running are way too hard and slick. Are Kenda KR20 or similar a good choice? Or too sticky for stock power? Looking for something that is good for a beginner to learn how to initiate a drift but also sticky enough to control. Will be running 225/45/17 Kenda KR20 in front.

Impossible to find a front bumper in NorCal

The cheapest option I can find online is the Epsilon Aero front bumper for around $1200 picked up at their Bay Area location, but I’m not really wanting fiberglass. Even Carbon Miata’s polyurethane Mazdaspeed rep bumper is $1500 after tax and shipping. Yes I’ve checked every pick and pull within a 3 hour drive and have been on FB marketplace 24/7 the last 10 days straight. Does anyone in the Bay Area, California or within a 4-5 hour drive of Sonoma County have an NC2 or NC3 front bumper for sale who will not charge me an arm and a leg please?

New Car!

My first Miata! I have been searching for a Miata for a couple of years just waiting for the right time to buy, partly due to my budget and partly because I was waiting to sell my K swap Integra before picking up another fun vehicle. Paid $5500 and imo it’s worth every penny. I had previously traded a good friend of mine my Honda Fit for his NC1 for a month just to try one out, just fell in love instantly and knew I had to have one. Always been a Honda guy and have owned two s2k’s before but for some reason I like the Miata more. I don’t feel as on edge driving it and with this one being very much a driver’s car I don’t feel bad smashing on it. So much fun! Lmk if you think I overpaid? I’m in NorCal where car prices stay high unfortunately.

Anybody know where I can find a titanium back case/battery cover to replace the steel one on a DW5600? All I am finding online are the actual watch case itself and straps. I’d like to keep the resin case and replace just the back with titanium.
