Bought this switch for $40! But i punched the serial in wrong and its not a v1

No joycons but it came with fnaf so not a bad deal i think

Whats the best way to mod this?

I accidentally checked an 'xaw' serial number when this one is an 'xkw'(which showed as a switch lite?)

Not opposed to soldering myself just want to go with the easiest/most current method

Thanks for any info and pointers!

Traded switch lite for s8 ultra

Just traded a switch lite i wasnt using for this tab s8 ultra, kind of sad to see the switch go but the guy who got it seemed genuinely excited to play pokemon on it, whereas it just collected just on a shelf when i had it. Hoping I made a decent trade

It is the 16gb ram 512gb storage model, is anyone using their s8 for emulation? Probably going to be my number one use case so any performance tips would be awesome

Also trying to use it for some comic/manga reading if anyone can suggest a decent app(not from the playstore)

Also whats the deal with security updates? I believe the last one is in april 2027 so is the tablet a brick after that or is there custom patches that can be downloaded?

Thanks for any and all information

[Ps4 pro] power connector repair

I posted here about a week ago looking for some advice on repair a snapped power supply unit connector on the ps4 pro

I was able to solder it up and the system powered on and seemed to be working

I went to look for a controller(it was on for about 15 minutes) and came back to the system off and no longer wanting to peer on

Fingers crossed i messed up the psu and not the motherboard, anyone know how to test the psu? Ive found different articles stating to jump different pins and just wanted to confirm.

Also adding a picture of my solder job maybe something is obviously wrong that i am missing, feel free to roast, thank you for the help

[Ps4 pro] snapped power connector can it be resoldered?

I was trying to pull the power plug to do replace thermal pads and paste but the psu connector was really stuck(i'm still trying to separate it) and snapped off

I am fairly confident with my soldering skills just want to make sure im not wasting my time

Thank you
