Management Retaliation, Discrimination and Harassment

I have been reporting smoking at a non smoking property. Six weeks go by and nothing. I put a note on the door of two tenants because I was sick of getting headaches every time I would have to pass and smell the secondhand smoke. Since then, things have escalated tremendously. Even though I filed a complaint with HUD and HACA, I have been receiving lease violations stating I am harassing them. Since before the first lease violation, I was sent an email and advised not to approach them. I have not. After that, I visited the office to show video footage of a party they had that went on all night and til the next day. They have had at least three parties, not including the ones at the pool where they bring 15 plus guests. I have pictures of them. So I’m given two lease violations for each tenant, I guess. Then today, another two at the same time. They check loud or obnoxious, disrupting others and some other bullshit. All lies. I’ve been working for the past four days. Do they have to state when and where or at least some kind of context vs just citing the same clause on each citation? Can I get evicted? Can they show these violations to the property that I apply at? So much more here. Can they backdate lease violations? It does not seem to phase them one bit that I’ve filed complaints. What should I do?

Please Help Clarify

Does this mean no smoking for the entire community if there is no signage?

Is there an attorney that would want to evaluate my case that involves a year long retaliation and discrimination?

Closing Duties

What do most SL’s do on 4 to 12 shifts? Is it cleaning the entire store, resets, putting out price changes, facing, photo? All of the above? But not just cleaning, right?

CSA LEFT STORE !

CSA left the store after we were closed. I was in the office counting money and he just left! He left the door unlocked and never bothered telling me! I got the heck out of there. I didn’t know what to do. I had a problem with the money but I specifically told him he couldn’t leave because it’s against policy to leave a person at the store alone. He could have at least told me he was leaving so I could lock the door behind him OMG! I’m pissed!

Any Suggestions?

Can’t sleep, tried everything imaginable except Dayvigo? Any ideas of online providers with advice on this?

SL - Closing

If you made mistakes with the money the night prior and called your manager the next day to ask how things went, he tells you that he will tell you when you get back to work but you are off for two days, is this the standard? It seems like he could at least say whether the money was there and say we can talk about what you did wrong when you come back. I don’t agree with making someone wait for two days to find out. Then it makes me very anxious the two days I am off.

IS

I can’t understand why my manager is not understanding that it takes me a long time to do price changes when the reset needs to be done. This is always on truck day. He keeps telling me that it’s taking g too long but the candy aisle and impulse is a mess. People put things in the wrong place and in several places. I have mentioned this many times but he just doesn’t understand how finding a lot of these products are like finding a needle in a haystack. ALL THE OTHER DAYS I FINISH MY IS DUTIES IN TWO HOURS!

He never tells me that I do a good job. I think our store is close to a Tier 5 store at $50 k a week. I’m working my ass off but it’s never enough. He only says something to me on the days that I struggle with these damn price changes! I’m waiting to find another IS position vs a shift lead. I don’t k ie how much more my mental health can take of this manager that is completely unreasonable and never tells me that I do a good job. That’s a shitty way to manage people. I’m a bad ass employee that he will lose! He probably needs to get laid! ha! It’s his fault for not sending me to be trained by the best IS in the district. Maybe he has some enemies at other Walgreens and doesn’t want me knowing all the bullshit he’s done!

Question for Everyone

I am transferring to a different store. I decided that I don’t want to work that position because it’s way too stressful. This job is way too stressful. It is affecting me mentally and physically. I don’t need the money but I want to do the right thing. They will need to train me for the new position so how will it go if I say I want to put my two weeks in? What if I just want to be a CSA. Will I lose my pay from an IS?

IS - Truck Days

How do you organize your days on truck days? When a vendor brings product, do you just receive it and open the doors to the cooler/cooler overstock room, then go about your IS duties while remaining out of work flow? Or do you babysit them by ensuring they put all the product where it belongs and all is stock and faced? Do you try to get your IS duties completed in between truck? Time management is what I am struggling with. My store manager only notices when I don’t have time for truck but then again, I’ve been told by the SM that IS duties come first and to be out of workflow. That’s impossible when all is working on truck and I’m in the front doing price changes near the front.

How much does your IS help on truck days?

What is the average time your IS helps on truck days. I am referring to the ones that are good team players but have a heavy workload excluding the IS’s that spend more than two hours in pharmacy.

IS -Too many Price Changes on Truck Day

It seems like I have too many price changes on truck day. The problem is the price changes are on the candy aisle and candy in impulse. Reset has been over due for months. Employees place the same candy in several locations and place candy in the wrong positions. This causes me to spend way too much time on price changes and I can’t finish to help with truck. I spent time moving candy to a couple of locations to help find it faster. I want nothing more than to get done asap to help with truck but this keeps happening. Any other IS having these issues? What could I have done differently? Why not do these the day after truck day? I keep finding things in the wrong place every day and I move them out and it keeps happening. This is time consuming. I care about doing everything I should but I get caught up fixing these issues with good intentions and it cause me to spend way too much time on price changes on truck day. Yes, I told my SM this is a pattern.
