Fightland - 1x03 No Innocents Discussion

I didn't see the episode 3 discussion topic posted, so i thought i would post it.

Honestly, I am not sure how i feel about this episode because he did save the security guard, but i didn't expect him to kidnap him at the end. Now he's screwed because he can't let him go, as he can identify him.

So that woman is an undercover agent; this should be interesting. I feel like she's going to end up being killed by the end of the season; no way she survives the first season.

Forts are bad for small guilds

It's been a while since i posted on this Reddit because, ever since Fort started i reached the point or wonder whether i should bother because i am in a small guild. It's hard to get a higher fort if you don't own a lower fort, which you don't want.

With guilds, vs that down luck, some weeks we face a small guild and some weeks we face a big guild, but it's random; with forts, those forts are limited .

Only the bigger guilds on your server can get them .

A small guild is less than 12 active members but more than 5

Medium guilds are between 12-20 active members

Large guilds are more than 20 active members

Knight Rider do you think they will ever get successful reboot in the future ?

Hey everyone,

As a massive fan of the original series, I keep hoping for a successful reboot, but every attempt so far has missed the mark. I’ve been thinking about why they keep failing, and as a fan, I wanted to throw an idea out there to see what you all think.

First off, I wouldn't call it Knight Rider. Carrying that title puts way too much baggage and expectation on a new show, which usually leads to failure. Instead, I’d simply title the series K.I.T.T.

The Premise:

Instead of starting with a polished superhero car handed over by a billionaire, the show starts with a heist. A car thief is hired to break into a high-security warehouse holding forgotten Knight Industries vehicles. As he breaks in, we get Easter eggs for longtime fans, with various vehicles from the past (including the Team Knight Rider vehicles) sitting in storage.

He steals the K.I.T.T. car and makes his getaway. While driving off, the warehouse alarms suddenly trigger. He’s completely baffled because he personally cut the security system; unbeknownst to him, K.I.T.T. activated the alarm itself. That’s where the story kicks off: a thief stuck with a sentient, highly principled prototype machine he didn't intend to steal.

The Casting:

Driver: Dax Shepard

Voice of K.I.T.T.: Kristen Bell

The biggest hurdle for any reboot is replicating the bicker-and-bond dynamic between Michael and K.I.T.T. Dax Shepard is a legitimate real-life gearhead and stunt driver who would bring real authenticity to the wheel, and bringing his real-life chemistry with Kristen Bell into the car gives the driver/AI dynamic instant, effortless banter.

I know it’s just a fan dream and will probably never happen, but I wanted to share it with people who love the original as much as I do. Am I crazy, or would you watch something like this?

Elle (prime) Discussion

I was plesantly surprised by this series , i really wasnt expecting this to be any good but it really surprised me because actress who played elle was quite good she was not annoying nor was she arrogant she was typical teenager who learnt theres more to life than what her life was like in LA. Seeing her grow each episode has been amazing.

Vodaphone -Upgrade Full Fiber

We've been with Vodafone for 4 years, no issues until we decided to upgrade to full fibre. Unfortunately, we made a mistake thinking the phone line was included in the upgrade since we already had digital voice, and it wasn't. It has now 2 week broadband work started. Getting Vodafone to amend the order to include the phone line has been a nightmare since they told us we would need to cancel the broadband package and reorder, but they don't know how long we will not have broadband for.

Fiber upgrade works perfect but the phone line needs to be added they said they can't add unless we cancel the order, which sounds ridiculous.

Here is the offical response

Thank you for contacting Vodafone Specialist Care Team

We would like to update you regarding the issue you reported and your request to have a landline service included.

Upon reviewing your account, we found that this situation has arisen because the current order was placed for broadband-only services. We have checked with our teams to explore whether it is possible to arrange a standalone landline service; however, unfortunately, there is no option available to add a landline service on its own.

As discussed, the only available option would be to cancel the existing broadband-only order and place a new order for broadband along with landline services.

Please reply to this email with your decision. If you choose to proceed with cancellation and reorder, we will arrange for the cancellation of your current services. Following this, you can place a new order either by visiting our website or by contacting our Sales Team to ensure that you are set up with broadband along with landline services.

If you decide not to proceed with this option, then there will be no further action required from either side, and we will proceed to close the case.

Our respose is

Dear Vodafone Specialist Care Team,

Thank you for your update.

Before I confirm whether to proceed with cancellation and a new order, I need clear written confirmation on the following points:

Will my existing landline number be retained and transferred to the new order without loss?

What is the expected downtime for both broadband and landline services during the cancellation and re-order process?

Will the new order be placed immediately after cancellation, or will there be a gap between services?

Can you confirm that this process will restore both broadband and landline services as a single completed package, rather than leaving the service in a partial state again?

As this issue has already resulted in a prolonged service disruption, I need to fully understand the impact before agreeing to any further changes.

Once I have this confirmation, I will review and respond with my decision.
