how do i log in to google?

i forgot my password to my google account which i can only access on my old phone whoch is now broken. and when i try resetting the password, it says that i havent proven that i own the account. what do i do?

my samsung phone wont charge or power on, it has all my apps. ive tried force restarting it but the power screen shows up then goes away immediately. ive cleaned the port and tried everything. help pleasee
