New business on linden and Smithville?

The old rite aid near the corner of linden and Smithville is being refitted for something. I'm hoping for a restaurant or brewery. A welcomed change to the neighborhood. Does anyone know what they are working on?

New homeowner looking to make the best of a rewards card

I recently became a first-time homeowner and I'm looking for the best rewards credit card for my money. I have a credit score north of 830 and no other debts aside from my house. The current card I'm using is a Discover (which came in handy with the 5% cash back on home improvement stores this quarter.) I've been using the card to buy necessities for the home which has been fine but I know I'm not getting much benefit out of the 1% to 5% cash back.

I was nearly ready to pull the trigger on a Capital One venture card due to the low annual fee and decent travel rewards. However, I'm not too excited about Capital One using all three bureaus. I had entertained Chase Sapphire and even AMEX, but it seems the general consensus is Amex rewards are starting to be outshined by Chase and Capital One, and capital one offers slightly better travel rewards than chase. I make most of my purchases with my discover currently and would like to change to a better reward system as I don't carry a balance.

My main concern is Capital One uses all three bureaus. I know Amex and Chase typically pull one. Is it worth getting a Capital One card given that I recently had my credit pulled for my mortgage and then will again soon for a vehicle likely within one year? Or should I stick it out with the discover card for some time, to separate my inquiries. This will be my 3rd in 2 years and 1st tradeline in 5 years, aside from my house.
