SET venting session

I do SET and I totally get that it’s my job to clean, and I do it well. But if you put your hair on the shower wall, and then leave it there, you’re being inconsiderate and gross. Who raised you? A strand or two at the bottom of the shower I understand but clumps of hair plastered to the wall is ridiculous.

Also your face wash, toothbrush, oura ring and wet clothes and underwear get left in the shower often. Double check before you leave. I don’t want to touch your underwear even with gloves on.

Also wash your hands. Every shift while I’m cleaning I see girls just use the bathroom, skip the sink altogether and go right into class.

Giving Up

I live in SoCal where even community colleges are extremely competitive and sometimes lottery based. So even if I have good grades, and a solid test score, my acceptance may be left up to chance. I’m 43, have an MPH, an IBCLC, CNA and work full time. I have been turned down once. I was told to take Anatomy again to get an A. I have Bs in A&P and an A in microbiology. The class doesn’t work with my work schedule and I’d have to leave work early to get to class by 5:30pm or 6.

I’m ready to give up. Like even if I retake this class and do everything right, my chances of getting in are not great. I’ve looked at every school in my city, including the LVN schools and it’s just so frustrating. At what point do I just say “this isn’t going to happen for me, and that’s ok?”.

▲ 15 r/Names

I’m divorced and still have my ex’s last name. I don’t want my old last name back, and was thinking about changing it to something new entirely. Then I realized I can change my first and middle name too. Has anyone ever done this? If so, what was your experience like? How did you pick your chosen name? I think I have my new name figured out, just curious to hear other’s experiences.
