Seattle VIP

Hey, anyone doing VIP in Seattle tomorrow? I haven’t gotten an email yet, and I was just wondering if anyone else did. I contacted the venue and they said the VIP company (?) should reach out but they did give me the times they had- 5:15 check in, and 5:30-6:30 M/G, doors at 7:30, which is helpful.

Seat Recommendations

I’ve never been to a Reign game, and actually I don’t know much about them at all, but I’m visiting the city for the weekend and looking for something to do tonight, and I love soccer. There’s a lot of tickets available- would you recommend the lower level or the club level? Doesn’t look like it’ll rain.

Thanks!

Tour Starts Today! Anyone doing VIP?

Very excited for the shows this month. Is anyone doing VIP or know how it usually works? Curious when to expect an email with information as I'm doing it for one of the shows this coming weekend.

What shows are you going to and what are you looking forward to hearing live?

I'm going to be in Seattle and Portland, and I'm hoping they play Solid State as I'm curious to see how it will sound live.

Songs you predict or hope they'll play on the upcoming tour

I'm very much looking forward to the few shows I'm going to on the upcoming October tour, and I'm curious what you all think they may play (and what you hope they'll play). I was lucky enough to see them a few times recently in three very different venues across LA: at the Zebulon show that opened their spring tour, the acoustic set at Harmony Gold before their documentary premiere, and their opening slot for The Cult last October. The Harmony Gold set, though short, was awesome because they played a few songs that aren't in the regular rotation including Pennies, Undecided, Solaris, and Bernie.

I think it's a given that they'll very likely include Nurse, Stuck on You, Another Space Song, Undone and/or Frogs, and the singles off of Location Lost (Rising Skyline, A Way Down, and The Air's on Fire), but how do you think they'll fill out the rest of the set? Do you think they'll keep it similar to the spring setlist or change it up a little bit?

I'd love to hear Solid State, Crash Test Delayed, and Someday Soon from LL. I may be wrong, but I don't think they've ever played Long Division or Come Crashing which are some of my all time favorites of theirs.

I hope they choose a few different songs from their catalogue to fill out the set- would love to hear a track or two from Comfort and Magnified (especially Moth, Something, Salt Wound, or Empty Friend), and it would be amazing to hear a Greg song (Half Moon especially), though I'm not counting on it.

Other wishlist track for me include Dirty Blue Balloons, Solaris, Snow Angel, Headstand, and Paralytic Flow. But honestly, I'll be happy with whatever they play.

New Alternative Press Article with Greg

Really interesting read. He talks about some of the inspiration behind the tracks on Location Lost, who wrote what, his candid opinion on the documentary, and some of the tension within the band.

I feel like we don’t get too many Greg interviews, but I love hearing his perspective and how he describes the music. There’s some great lines in here.
