Miami cruise - too raunchy?

I’m considering booking an 8 day voyage on valiant lady over Xmas. My wife gets self conscious around provocatively dressed women or raunchy behavior, and is concerned because the cruise is out of Miami. Is this something that we should expect to be an overt thing on the ship? I don’t want her to be uncomfortable.

Xmas Cruise

I’m considering taking a cruise out of Florida the week of Xmas (including Xmas day). I know Celebrity is known for having fewer kids. Does anybody have experience with Xmas, and can comment if there is more or less kids during Xmas week?

Seaside Heights or Point Pleasant

I have not been to the boardwalk in years, but I’m visiting my father in Tom’s River and I want to take my wife for a little nostalgia.

We will be visiting after we get lunch with my dad so will be there between 3-6ish on a Wednesday.

Which boardwalk do you recommend? I always remember seaside having more to do, but I’m worried about all the stories about it being way too crowded and unruly over the last few years. How is Seaside during the week these days?

Experience with Premier Pools & Spas

Hi everyone. I am getting quotes for a pool build and it’s looking like I will be going with Premier Pools and Spas, out of Palm Harbor.

Does anybody have any experience with this company that you could share?

Is this pool feature helpful?

I am interviewing pool companies for a new build pool and one of those companies is Premier Pools. One of their selling points, according to the salesman, is that they thicker rebar in their construction and they use more “bands” of rebar than competitors.

I see why these could be an attractive feature in colder climates where you have to deal with frost heave, but I live in central Florida, and my thought is that this additional strength is largely useless since it doesn’t ever get below freezing,

Can anybody more knowledgeable chime in with their opinions?

Repair Floor under LVP

My LVP floor has parquet floor underneath. It is rotting near the front door but only a small section. What is the best way to repair this?

Should I cut out the rotting part and fill it with quikrete (or some other self leveler)? I’m worried the concrete might make the floor rot more though.

Or should I cut it out and then patch it with plywood?

Removing all the parquet is not an option at the moment.

I need to pickup something at International Mall on Sunday and would like to kill a few hours in Tampa after. (I’m visiting from Clearwater area)

My first idea is I can get a Lime electric scooter (are Lime scooters still a thing?) and ride around and maybe grab a beer somewhere. Can anybody make recommendations on cool spots to park my car and then ride a scooter? I’ve been to Armature works before, so something new would be great.

Last time I visited Clearwater beach, I think I saw a sign for a parking lot in Clearwater with a shuttle to Clearwater beach. Am I remembering correctly? Does this exist? Is this a private lot/shuttle or is it provided by the town?
