Any tips to maximize fruit size on a 3rd flush?

My 1st flush gave ~550 g wet, 2nd was ~250 g with sparse pinning. Going into flush 3, there's a heavy pinset on the surface. Ik substrate nutrition depletes over successive flushes, but how can I support these pins so they grow to full size? The cake is currently sitting on a 3 inch perlite bed.

First Grow

Huge thanks to the OG Senpai bro for the recipe and grain prep guide..As a beginner, I made a few mistakes along the way, which unfortunately led to having to bury one of my tubs. That said, I’m getting ready for the second flush on the surviving one if anyone has tips or advice, I’d love to hear them. Thanks in advance

Trichoderma mid-flush ..pins are already 3-4 cm. can i save it !

Spotted a greyish-green patch today on 1 of my 3 tubs. Pretty sure it’s early Trichoderma sporulation.

Pins are already 3–4 cm tall and look healthy. I've moved the tub to other place, but I really want to let this first flush finish over the next 24–48 hours before tossing the cake.

What’s the best way to stall the patch without spreading spores to the pins?

FAE and Fruiting condition

Trying to decide whether I should flip the lid for more FAE and mist the tub walls now, or give it another 3–4 days to colonize !
What key factors help you get a solid, even canopy with bigger fruits instead of scattered pins?

Substrate Ratio, Tub Sizing, & Supplements

First of all, huge thanks to OG Senpai and Robigus for all the guidance and Senpai's recipe it’s been a total game changer for keeping contamination away!

Before S2B mixing (2*500gm& 1kg), I’ve a few quick questions and would appreciate any advice:

  1. S2B Ratio : Between 1:1 and 1:2, which gives better yields/flushes in practice? Is the faster colonization of 1:1 worth the slightly lower total bulk volume?

  2. Tub Sizing & Depth: If I go with 1:2 (around 3 kg and 2*1.5kg total bulk mass), what tub dimensions/quart size should I buy? I want to hit a solid 3–4 inch cake depth without sacrificing vertical fruiting clearance.

  3. Air Exchange / Filters: Is 3M Micropore tape (1–2 layers) sufficient for drilled tub holes, or should I look into specific synthetic filter discs/patches?

  4. Substrate Supplements for Canopies: Can I add anything like pasteurized manure or erythritol to standard CVG to push denser flushes, or is it better to stick to plain CVG ?
Thanks in advance for the help! 🍄

Please guide me

It’s been 20 days since I inoculated, but there’s no sign of mycelium growth occurring in my jar. I even ordered the LC from a reputed vendor and the jar from Mycomyth. The city I live in is kind of hot and humid, but with AC I lower the temp to 24–25°C, and there’s not even a single contamination in the jar or grow bag, so it seems like all my time and money have been wasted. Please help what should I do further?

LC to Grain Ratios and Best Grain for Hot/Humid Climates?

Hey as a beginner looking to start my Myco journey, I just ordered (LC) from a trusted vendor. I’ve a few questions before I get started

1. LC:Grain Ratio: If I buy 500g or 1000g grain jars, how many can I inoculate with a single LC syringe? Alternatively ..if I buy a large 2.7kg grain bag, can I use the entire LC syringe on it at once?

2. Best Grain for Hot & Humid Climates: I live in a humid and hot place . For spawning, which grain would be my best option to minimize contamination risks: wheat, millet, sorghum, or corn?
