Hey y’all! I recently got my Lumix S1 II, and I’m looking to invest in a zoom lens that’ll do a couple of things for me.
I’ll be capturing video and photo doing performances (dancing, singing, there might be a juggler lol) at a couple of anime conventions coming up, obviously not at the same time.
While doing video, the camera is gonna be on a tripod, capturing everything happening on the stage, probably hanging around f4-5.6.
But while I’m in charge of photographing, I want to get good clear shots of individual performers.
I’m wondering if anyone has experience with either lenses (or both) and if the f4 on the lumix lens was good enough, or if the extra stop of light on the sigma lens justifies the larger cost?

$1800 - Silver Fujifilm X-E5 w/ 23mm f2.8 pancake lens. Essentially brand new, at 500 shutter count. Comes with UV lens protector, shutter button, battery, rope strap, smallrig grip
$450 - Fujifilm 33mm f1.4. Purchased this from a local camera store for about the same price. There is some damage on the filter thread (NOT the optics) but it doesn’t affect the overall image quality. It is possible to correct it, but I haven’t particularly tried to do so.
$375 - Fujifilm 23mm f2.8 pancake lens. Perfect condition
$350 - Fujifilm 27mm f2.8 pancake lens. Perfect condition

I’m considering making the switch from my Sony A7RV to something like a Lumix S1 RII. I’m very photo first but lately I find myself doing a but of video for events (streaming and recording) and I’d like to one day get a bit creative with it and do some short films with friends.
Camera body wise the Lumix has so many controls and dials and I love it. I tried it out and in a camera store recently and it was so neat!! Being able to use LUTs while making photos seems so cool to me. There’s a slight hit to overall resolution, but the 60mp has always felt like overkill. In the past, Ive loved Fuji colors but hated their subpar AF and lack of FF cameras (I use an x100vi for travel and stuff), and the lumix system seems like the nice medium point between the two brands. My main lenses are the 24-70 sigma and a viltrox 35mm f1.2, and L mount seems to have a comparative lense in the ecosystem for each.
And overall…the S1 RII seems so cool. I can’t shake the feeling lol.
I wonder if anyone else has made a similar switch and what their experience ended up being like. Thank you for your thoughts :)

A bike at a local shop. It apparently has all the features I would want in a bike (hydraulic brakes, 2x10 drivetrain, road-ish), but its from a seemingly lesser known brand than for road/gravel bikes. Wondering what people's opinions are on it. My other options at the moment would be the Poseidon Triton, Polygon Stratos S4, or a Canyon Endurace allroad if i decide to drop a whole bunch more money on this.
I’ve been hoping to make the transition away from my Peloton onto outside cycling, and well, the amount of options are crazy, and the prices are so high. I’d be using the bike 2-3 times a week at least (I use my peloton about 5 times a week right now).
From talking to local bicycle shops, they suggest that I should be looking to get a road/gravel bike, a drive train with 10 gears at least, and hydraulic brakes.
I’ve tried out a Specialized Allez, Trek Domane, and a cannondale, and at my budget (1500 is the hard limit) nothing has the features I would like. I did find a Haro Buzzard Alloy LTD 2 Gravel Bike for 1300, with all the features I want, but it seems too good to be true. I tried out the bike, and it seems fine? The most expensive bike I tried, the specialized allez sport, felt way better, but that is closer to 2300 than 1500. I plan on checking out a used Poseidon x ambition this weekend, but I prefer to buy new. Though buying online is possible, I’d prefer to buy local.
I’m wondering if anyone in this subreddit has experience with the Haro bike, and if yall got any other suggestions for me. Thanks for the help!
