My old phone broke that was linked to my 2FA account and I couldn't link it to my new phone. Anytime I try to sign into my student email or stuview it says to 2FA verify. Who do I contact about this and will I still be able to go to convocation?
I work at a bakery and started full time at the start of April and was told the shifts were roughly 8 hours, sometimes a little longer, sometimes a little shorter. For my first pay period my shifts were on average 7 hours, 58 minutes and 22 seconds.
Then another location opened and we had extra work to do for them so for the second pay period my shifts averaged 9 hours 13 minutes and 5 seconds (side note, I love excel).
Now, for the third pay period ANOTHER FUCKING LOCATION OPENED UP. We have 1 more worker now (who also hasn't been told by anyone other than me that she's doing a good job) and my shifts have averaged at 9 hours, 42 minutes and 27 seconds each. Many of the days I didn't get breaks.
On top of all of this, my most recent cheque was short 3 hours and 34 minutes of overtime because they like to round down the hours worked (I am keeping a log with screenshots of everything and will go to the ministry of labour when I leave in June at the absolute latest).
This is getting too exhausting. So many nights I have dreams of working and then wake up and have to go to work and go through that the entire week. I no longer get to spend my fridays going to my local smash bros tournaments because we always finish too late (could before with 8 hour shifts).
At this point I'm telling my manager I can only work 8.5 hours a day and to either cut the workload or replace me. There were some days where I had to leave after 9 hours to get home to my diabetic cat with health problems and I got told by the owner "you had to leave your team early for your sick cat".
The only feedback I ever receive is "work faster, this isn't done right, this wasn't cleaned right, etc." Like fuck does daddy manager want me to suck or blow?!?!?!
Anyway, with the amalgamation of being overworked, underpaid, no free time and vet bills and cat worries, I'm fucking done with this shit.
