I struggle finding good hiking pants that are quick drying and lightweight for plus size women. I also would like people’s opinions on a puffer jacket that also fits a bustier plus size woman does Patagonia XL actually fit plus size woman that is a 16 to 18 size.
what are other’s experiences with this? not a party hostel just a regular one.

never done it before. booked it and then got scared. i know there is female only but the options are very

I’m 35 and pretty confident going around new places when I am with friends or family.
But recently I have wanted to travel and have no one to go with - so instead of wasting life I’m gonna travel alone!
My first planned trip is this September 2026 to Banff Canada. I read it is a very safe place to visit solo.
I was wondering if any one has any tips on traveling alone as a woman. Also any suggestions in Banff.
I read about group hotels? So you can meet new people. I would love to have someone to hike with, but if I don’t I feel safe to hike alone. I live in western north carolina and I hike locally alone CONSTANTLY.
I am very nervous about getting off the plane and navigating myself from the airport to Banff and hotels and such.
Any advice is wonderful.
I also reallllly want to go to the Southwest national parks- but have been told going alone is dangerous.
