As someone who was excited to see them attempt a comeback during that time, I often got the feeling watching the interviews and behind the scenes footage there was some tension still (understandable of course) and that perhaps being in close proximity after so many years apart could have caused a cool down period on future endeavors for the time being. It seemed like Justin was engaged again and ready to put the horsepower behind it but perhaps too many requests from outside or group differences ( also that strike but kinda a non factor if they really wanted to do it after) could've happened and in the end he went back to solo route after the tour. Curious if anyone maybe saw the same thing during that time, was a shame but still grateful for those 2 songs.

At the rate they are going, perhaps its better they go the ABBA route and have themselves frozen in time avatar wise around the NSA tour, that show sells out well and you could definitely put that in the sphere or similar venues.

When I was at CSUMB 14yrs ago we had tried to get a museum going on one of the old Hammerhead barracks, this was told to be uneconomical or feasible since asbestos, etc. Those buildings and like 95% of the WW2 barracks are now lost forever and the remaining 8 Hammerheads by Gigling are too far gone, so curious as to where they would put a museum now, the old Chamberlin Library, the old Main Chapel? I suspect there's not much left to use and I doubt the school would want to do more than what it has done by using and rehabilitating some of the buildings. I know as time has gone on there's some mixed feelings about how it closed and what was done since closure but its still a big and important part of Monterey Area history.
