So I'm not a huge fan of boy bands. I dabble and listen to a bit. I'm 40 so I grew up with Nsync and Backstreet but lately I see people saying that BSB had vocals and Nsync has the dance moves and I disagree.

The best vocalist out of ALL 10 guys is JC. The 2nd best vocalist is Justin, so Nsync again.

Was this intentional, or were they absent doing other gigs at the time? The stark difference in sound from Celebrity to previous albums is amazing. There are no songs with true 5 part harmonies. They all sound like stacked JC and Justin vocals with a little Chris thrown in at times.

It makes me wonder if this was the driving force for Justin to leave after this album for their(Joey and Lance) lack of interest in the group musically at the time. They were really trying hard to dive into film at that time, and I wonder if they even recorded much of Celebrity together or if they came in separately and laid their vocals down after? We even got a fill-in with Wade Robson for crying out loud with the Pop video. Regardless if Joey hurt himself, typically NSYNC woulda made light of it and just put Joey in a wheelchair lol

It truly feels half-assed on their part. Jc and Justin literally carried that group to their death. The weight was all on them.

I’m wanting to see JC at the NC comic con. I’ll be spending over $1000 and traveling across the country just to see him. I don’t even care about anyone else at the convention lol. So I’m trying to make sure it’s “worth it.” Can anyone tell me what the experience is like? I know JC did a comic con a few months ago, but even if you met anyone else at a comic con, that would be helpful too. For the photo op, do you only get like 10 seconds with them and it’s super rushed? Or do you get a minute or two with them? Do they sign autographs during the photo op? If you purchase the photo op ticket, are you guaranteed to meet him even if you’re in the back of the line?

Also.. I’ve heard that JC might do a panel. He’s going to be there for two days. I’m not sure if he’s doing a panel both days or just one, but I want to make sure I do the photo op on the day he’s doing the panel. Any idea when they release panel info or anyone know if he will likely do a panel both days?

During panels, can you hear what’s being said fairly well? I’ve been to comedy shows before where I can hardly even understand what’s being said. I guess speaker quality sucks?

Any other tips about anything? I’m traveling alone from across the country literally just to see him so I really want to get the most of the experience and not mess anything up 😭 Thank you so much in advance for any kind of help!

Just curious if anyone has ever met JC’s girlfriend, Jen? He’s been with her forever but I’ve not heard of any fan interactions (good or bad) and was just curious :)

Do you guys remember those weird, awkward, cringey photoshoots that Nsync did when they were in Germany?

Don’t shoot me for this as I wasn’t really alive for most of their careers but I have to ask about JC’s first album, schizophrenic. What happened with it? He is so talented and his voice is amazing but this album just doesn’t make sense to me with how unbelievably different the majority of it is to Nsync. Like it’s very very blatantly sexual. Was it just the kind of teen pop of Nsync that hid JC’s actual musical identity or what? Like there is some good songs on there but for me is a massively underwhelming album and a confusing one. Any opinions ?
