According to the teaser Scrap mechanic will be releasing as 1.0 which means leaving early access after 10 years on the 24th.

When a game has such a massive update and also when it leaves early access steam will do a massive promotion of the game and a whole lot of new people will find it, notably new youtubers that weren't around or popular when survival mode released or when the game first came out in 2016.

Prepare for a lot of these new players will be very much noobs, will have lots of questions, and many of them will be children. That happens and is what we should all expect and be prepared for.

I was one of those players who assumed that tha game was abandoned, and have made many snide remarks against the devs, but with the new upsate actually relseasing for once I feel new hope. Let's hope that the devs are not going to dissapoint.

Hello [agent name] I am writing because I want to see if you would be interested in represent me for publishing my first novel, The Ring of the fire ash king.

The Ring of the fire ash king is the first book I have ever made, it's currently at 3,567 words but will likely be around 130,000 words when I'm putting in the final draft. It's a real passion project of mine -as I have been thinking about the characters in the book since I was 11-, but only found recently that I had aquired enough trauma to write it. I want to make sure that I have a good agent that can help me sell this book to one of the big 5 publishers (except not penguin, yuch) and that can follow me along this journey.

The Ring of the fire ash king is a grimmdark dark academia Romantasy medieval fantasy with a strong hero character. It is similar to other works by authors such as G.R.R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson and Matt Dinnaman. The book is a standalone novel with potential of being made into a series.

I can't give you sample chapters due to reasons of confidentiality, which as a professional I think you understand. The pitch speaks for itself however and as said I want an agent that can help carry this book to the best publishers and the best book stores. It will need to also be published as an audiobook since none of my friends can read but I really want to show it to them.

In terms of our agent contract my minimum is that I require a publishing advance of at least $10,000 to make sure that I can quit my job as an AI engineer to write full time, and your agent cut of 5% or less from Royalties. I also need to retain full control of editing and cover art so the publisher doesn't put any female characters in the book or on the cover. I will also need to retain movie and tv-adaptation rights so I can make sure they don't make any of the actors in the adaptation black.
